Once Scotty begins his fulltime practice schedule he’ll start competing on the Pepsi and Southern California Tours. Plans also include Monday Qualifiers at select regular PGA Tour events.
When he places in the top ten or wins an event, a post press release will go out guaranteeing the highest quality exposure. In the past when Robertson would appear in a city to conduct a seminar or exhibition the local press would always come out to cover his story. From television, newspaper and radio they would flock to meet the man making the biggest change the game of golf has ever seen. Press coverage averaged (3) television news casts, (2) radio shows and (3) newspapers articles per city.
From Golf Digest to the New York Times, Good Morning Texas to Dateline NBC for years the coverage has been incredible. Now imagine what will happen when Scotty at age 51 plus shows up competing with the young bucks and displays his powerful swing, still driving the ball well over 300 yards. In fact in early May of 2009 while being interviewed with a web-writer, Scotty bombed one drive over 400 yards hitting driver - sand wedge on a 517 yards par five.
