“During a long drive contest held in Santa Maria, California, Robertson
took first place with a clout of 374 yards. During his round with this writer
Monday afternoon, Robertson blasted a tee shot over the lake and through a fierce
wind on the notorious fourth hole at Fowlers Mill – a distance of some
350 yards from the blue tees. Then on the sixth hole Robertson hits his one iron
300 yards. All golfers know the sound of a perfect shot, when the ball meets
the club face exactly as it should. That’s what the one iron sounded like.
What did it look like? Something Albert Belle puts over the left field wall.
He posted a 65.”
Ed Sherman, Chicago Tribune
"During a tour of Chicago last summer Robertson launched balls into Tiger
Woods land using the grip. He routinely sent drives more than 300 yards, mostly
straight and with a draw. He took this reporter’s left handed 4-wood,
turned it on its toe so he could hit it right-handed and simply wacked a 270
yard drive straight with a slight draw. This much is for sure: Nobody should
get into a driving contest with Robertson."
Bill Huffman, The Arizona Republic / The New York Times (International)
"Robertson put on an exhibition, hitting his sand wedge 155 yards with accuracy, as well as bombing his driver in the 300 yard range. The shots are consistent, with a little draw on each ball. Suddenly, you begin to listen."
Bob Stevens, FOX Sports
"Scotty Robertson is truly amazing! He bombs his drives into John Daly range and farther. Yes folks, it’s for real."
Josh Mankowiecz, Dateline NBC
"Think Newton and his apple… think Ben Franklin and his kite… In any case, Scotty Robertson has found ‘Lightning in a Bottle’."
Todd Whithorne, Co-Host, Good Morning Texas
"Scotty Robertson is a terrific communicator. Even if you’ve never picked up a golf club, Scotty tells a fascinating story that inspires everyone to have passion and to make a difference. I have also seen him in action, he is truly amazing."
